Emil Mischik, 88 passed away 3 Oct 2005.  He did get the opportunity to see The Pride on Father's Day at Kennedy Stadium.  He was very very happy to be there and kept a smile on his face the whole day.

He was vice commander of St. Raphael's Buccaneers in the late 60s to early 70s and a charter member of The Pride.

His Buccaneer girls and Carl Rhoda presented him with a Pride shirt and hat at the nursing home which he wore that day.

He was with the Barnum Festival for 25 years, he had the back gate at Kennedy and sure did let a lot of His Kids in.

He will be greatly missed and is watching  at the drum corps gates up in heaven and seeing all his drum corps people.
